Beta — SHSAT simulator

Ready for Stuy,Bx Sci, or Tech?

A full-length, fully timed SHSAT simulator you can take right now, for free. Three hours, both sections, the real clock running — so the first time you feel test-day pressure isn't on test day.

Where Mokello is today

This is in beta, as we develop and test the functionality.

The simulator follows the real SHSAT as closely as we can — same length, same two sections, same clock. It is still in experimentation: question wording, difficulty mix and scoring are being tuned, so treat the score as practice feedback rather than a prediction.

Mokello is being built for students preparing for the SHSAT, for parents who want to see honest practice conditions, and for tutors who need something their students can sit end to end. Tell us what breaks and we will fix it.

Questions
Is it really free?

Yes.

How closely does it match the real SHSAT?

As close as we can, but currently this is in experimentation.

Who is this for, and which grades?

Grade 6 and up — anyone preparing for the SHSAT.

Do I need an account?

Not at this time, but maybe in the future to keep track of scoring and progress.

How long is a full test?

The SHSAT is 3 hours, or 180 minutes, long.

Is it timed like the real thing?

Yes, unless you are in practice mode.

Three hours nowbeats surprises later.
